CBS电视网将在2018年冬季档安排播出夏季档真人秀常胜将军《老大哥》的名人版，2月7日首播，用于对抗强劲的对手——冬奥会，此外CBS还安排多次获得艾美奖的《极速前进》第30季同样在冬季档播出，1月3日首播，2月7日为常规档期首播。《极速前进》自从让CBS从周日调档到周五、周四之后，收视率不断下跌，不知道这次安排在冬季档播出，收视会否有明显提振呢？
此外CBS还公布了两部新剧的播出日期，由《傲骨贤妻》男星Alan Cumming主演的新剧《杀手本能》将在3月11日首播，接替《群策群力》的档期。而新喜剧《圣经生活》将于2月26日首播，接替《三代同层》的档期。不过唯独不见《基本演绎法》的档期安排。
